About Our Custom Essential Oil Blends

All oil blends from Reiki317 are comprised from the highest quality individual essential oils and are therapeutic grade, meaning the suppliers I source from provide oils which are produced to the highest quality standards possible. Our essential oils are chosen for their integrity (all chemical constituents important for aromatherapy are intact), ecological 'soundness' (they are organic or wild grown), and wonderful aromas. The oils utilized in Reiki317 blends have not been adulterated with “extenders” or synthetics which are commonly added to create a stronger scent or extend shelf life. The philosophy under which Reiki317 oil blends are created is that essential oils have true medicinal qualities and therefore the organic, unadulterated, sustainably sourced oils offer the greatest therapeutic effects.

None of the Reiki317 oils are created as “perfume”—to be used solely for the pleasure of their scent. Though often times the combinations are indeed beautiful to the wearer, the products are blended to create a specific synergy and relationship between the oils to maximize their unique therapeutic effects. The true “product” from Reiki317 is the creation of intuitive custom essential oil blends designed uniquely for an individual to address a specific area within their life. This is done through a process of discussion with the client followed by meditation and intuitive information received about the true nature and elements of the client’s needs. These needs and elements are translated into specific oils which can create the desired changes sought. The original core oil blends were developed specifically for me—I am, in fact, the first to battle test any new blend. Clients, friends and family are often involved in my process to offer feedback on how the blend worked for them or to provide any suggestions for its enhancement.

If you do not find what you are specifically looking for on the website, intuitive custom blending is truly what ignites my spirit and creative fire! Simply contact me for discussion on the unique elements or issues you wish to address. It is infrequent that a single essential oil on its own can fully address a multi-layered issue such as anxiety, depression, or fatigue. But when the right blend can be created—MAGIC!

Standard Essential Oil USE: Topical-- Apply 2-4 drops directly to pulse or “perfume points” (neck, wrists, chest). Dilution not required, except for the most sensitive skin. Use as needed. To dispense oil, gently shake prior to each use. Tip bottle and lightly tap against wrist or fingers to dispense one drop at a time (For euro dropper bottles vs. roll-on applications). For diffusing, please follow instructions based upon your specific diffuser to determine drop to water ratio and saturation based upon the room/area.
Caution:  Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use.
Storage: Keep in a cool dark place.

Intuitive Custom Essential Oil Blends

What is an Intuitive Custom Oil Blend?

While I have created unique blends to address many single issues (such as difficulty with falling asleep, concentrating, or chasing away the “blah” feeling) an Intuitive Custom Blend is created UNIQUELY and SPECIFICALLY for an individual. This blend represents the nature and essence of you personally—it is a peek into your soul! The Universe dictates specific compositions, while I am allowed to be your “artist” and translate and paint through essential oils. Specific chemical constituents within organic essential oils create a unique scent and physical response—when blended together with other essential oils they create an enhanced effect often delivering a more elevated response than the single oil could do on its own. The magic is knowing these combinations!

None of the Reiki317 oils are created as “perfume”—to be used solely for the pleasure of their scent. Though often times the combinations are indeed beautiful to the wearer, the products are blended to create a specific synergy and relationship between the oils to maximize their unique therapeutic effects. The true “product” is created through a process of discussion with the client followed by meditation and intuitive information received about the true nature and elements of the client’s needs. These needs and elements are translated into specific oils which can create the desired changes sought.
Pricing and Process

You will pay a base fee of $50.00 for the custom blend process. This is a ONE TIME development fee and if the product is reordered only the base price of the blend, sales tax and shipping will be applied. Once the blend has been developed the additional cost will be determined based upon the specific oils and their amounts within your customized product. As a general estimate consider on average a blend runs $25- $30.00 and only occasionally above this cost. You will be invoiced with the cost of your custom blend with sales tax and shipping. Once the second portion of the product fee has been received, blending will begin. Should you decide to not pursue the process; the base fee will be forfeited if the design process was already completed. Approximately 7-10 days are used in the entire process, though often turnaround can be much quicker.

Once the base fee has been received, I will send you a form to complete via email. Once this information is received, I will contact you personally to talk more in depth about your specific needs and goals for this custom blend. Please understand I am not a doctor—I cannot create a “cure” for a medical condition. Many times medical conditions create extreme stress emotionally, mentally, and spiritually and not just physically. These areas can generally be addressed and we can work in conjunction with your health care professional. All of my blends are to be utilized topically or diffused—never ingested.

Sometimes the worst stress comes from the things that are all too terribly familiar. There are times that anxiety can make even daily tasks seem insurmountable, even though I’ve done them countless times before. I know it’s something I can do; it’s just that in that moment it’s implausible, nigh on impossible, I could do it again. So what can make simple tasks so hard? What thoughts or behaviors prevent you from feeling confident about tasks you’re familiar with but which create anxiety regardless? One incredibly common example for anxiety sufferers is picking up the phone to call a friend. Intellectually you’re aware you’ll probably have a great conversation-- But anxiety (caused by loss of grounding) magnifies every difficult emotion, negative thought or sign of hesitation. BLT can bring a very solid sense of GROUNDING and eases feelings of stress and anxiety caused by loss of grounding.

BSF (Be in Spirit Form)

BSF is one of those “AHA Moment” creations. During a period of deep meditation following the loss of a deeply beloved soul, I visualized the components which would allow me to move forward through the loss while bringing focus, clarity, and acceptance. I wanted to honor the bond and love I experienced while also being able to accept the sorrow of the loss with ease and grace. Each component of this blend was selected based upon that meditation—not to create a perfume, rather to create a release of negative energy and grief while at the same time opening up the heart center and creating spiritual openness, and a connection to the ethereal soul and the Divine. A transition, as defined by Webster’s Dictionary is “the process or a period of changing from one state or condition to another.” Similarly, metamorphosis: “a change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means.” During periods of passing, such as with a debilitating or terminal illness, the body and mind begin the process of preparing to pass from one form of energy to the next. Some may call it death, and believe there is no state of being beyond it. Others believe the body returns to energy only to move toward a new state of being. No matter our belief, the metamorphosis occurs in sentient beings as the processes of the body begin to move into a transitioning phase. For both humans and creatures, this period can bring on feelings of fear, regret, anger, frustration. BSF is comprised of specific components which work not only with the Heart and Third Eye Chakras, but with the limbic center of the brain to allow the body, mind, and spirit to move toward a state of acceptance, love, and grace so a transition may be more gentle and peaceful.

This blend can be utilized at any time; many may find it a beautiful addition to periods of deep introspection and anointing such as a baptism or birth. It is designed for use with BOTH animals and humans and ideally used for the periods just prior, during, and following the passing of a loved one. Just as a person or creature must transition, so must the lives of those who remain. BSF instills an ethereal sense of deep tranquility while easing grief and healing emotional wounds.

Like Frankincense oil, Myrrh assists in spiritual opening – as its effect on the central nervous system is a gentle and calming one, able to instill a deep tranquility of the mind. As an ancient 'esoteric' magical herb, Myrrh is said to bridge Heaven and Earth, strengthening the connection between our crown and base chakras. This may allow the manifestation of dreams into this earthly realm. As a 'Funeral' herb, Myrrh is said to ease grief and heal emotional wounds, bringing peace and calm. One of Spikenard's biblical references is that of Mary of Bethany anointing the feet of Jesus with the oil before the last supper. Spikenard essential oil's use in modern aromatherapy is often one of regulating the actions of the nervous system and the heart with psychological effects addressing the heart-center and ethereal soul. With its warm and earthy aroma, Spikenard helps sooth the deepest forms of anxiety, and like Myrrh, can instill a profound sense of peace. It is then that the 'release' into spiritual openness may be of great assistance.
  • Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens): Harmonic and balancing, Geranium can be used for spiritual practice and meditation as it assists one in connecting to the intuition and wisdom messages of the heart. This naturally leads to an increased capacity for intimate and open communication between body, mind, and spirit. Many find Angelica essential oil to be an important addition to their healing or spiritually-protective blends. Angelica flower essence is used to open the doorway to protection from spirit realms.
  • Cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica & Cedrus deodora): Recognized for its calming and purifying effects, Cedarwood is most frequently used as a spiritually-grounding scent. The oil may stimulate the pineal gland which releases melatonin (a regulator of sleep and dreams) as well as the limbic system (center of emotions) by the high sesquiterpene content. Cedarwood is used as a temple incense by Tibetan Buddhists as well as an anointing oil.
