Hogwarts House Series: Ravenclaw
Ravenclaw Values: Intelligence, Knowledge, Wit
House Emblem: Eagle
Ravenclaw values intelligence, knowledge, forethought, creativity and wit. As intellectual, thoughtful people, Ravenclaws take their inspiration from nature, books, and themselves. These personality types all cherish learning and originality — both of ideas and people. Applying the Myers-Briggs Indicators Ravenclaw would likely have attracted those with such as INTJ, INTP, ISTJ, and ISTP.
Each of the four Hogwarts Houses corresponds to one of the four classical elements, Ravenclaw being an AIR Sign representation. From the sapphire blue and Eagle of their house sigil to the location and visual appeal of their housing—The Air element is found referenced throughout. The Ravenclaw common room and dormitories were located in a high tower on the west side of the castle and students must answer a riddle as opposed to giving a password to enter their dormitories. The RAVENCLAW oil blend harnesses the essence of members and alumni:
- Rosemary is often called the oil of knowledge and transition. When doing the inner work, we are constantly shifting and changing and not always comfortably! Rosemary helps with developing true knowledge of the Self and brings us deeper into our soul purpose.
- Copsiba allows us to see our emotional wounds and offers assistance with emotional clearing while providing spiritual protection and grounding allowing us to stay in the moment rather than projecting backwards or forwards.
- Clove is a mental stimulant with the ability to stimulate the creative side of our brains, stimulate dreams and promotes a sense of courage and protection.
- Vetiver is used for emotional grounding and stabilizing the emotions. The oil is suited to the type of individual who constantly strives for perfection, but who loses touch with the ability to absorb and replenish, not letting things just be and knowing they have influenced a situation all they could.
- Lemon is refreshing, rejuvenating, stimulating, and balancing. It inspires creativity and improves mental clarity.
- Peppermint clears mental fog and fatigue, amplifies analytic and mental ability.
